The Lion Ballroom makes a lovely concert venue with seating for an audience of 120. There is an ongoing programme of mainly classical concerts featuring a wide range of musicians.     The Early Music Festival Weekend which was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions in March has been rearranged for Friday 15 – Sunday 17 March 2019. Regrettably, we were unable to fix an earlier date. All tickets already purchased for the postponed event will be valid.

    Andrew Morris (piano)

    Andrew Morris (piano) plays Bach and Shostakovich in a fascinating programme of works which covers all 24 major and minor keys.

    Volante Strings

    An evening of string music reflecting Armed Forces Day and the 100th Anniversary of the end of the Great War. Programme includes Karl Jenkins’ Benedictus from the ”Armed Man”, music by Eric Coates, Elgar and Parry, Casals “song of the birds” (a prayer for peace) and the first performance of Worcestershire composer Tom Wells’ “Soldier of the Great War”.
