The Lion Ballroom makes a lovely concert venue with seating for an audience of 120. There is an ongoing programme of mainly classical concerts featuring a wide range of musicians.     The Early Music Festival Weekend which was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions in March has been rearranged for Friday 15 – Sunday 17 March 2019. Regrettably, we were unable to fix an earlier date. All tickets already purchased for the postponed event will be valid.

  • Friday 25 May at 7pm

    Andrew Morris (piano)

    Andrew Morris (piano) plays Bach and Shostakovich in a fascinating programme of works which covers all 24 major and minor keys.

  • Sunday 24 June at 3pm

    Roger Nichols

    Roger Nichols, the celebrated musicologist, raconteur and expert on French music, will perform on the piano and explore the world of Debussy’s music and his contemporaries.

    Joris Boon, Wolter Willemsen and Cileke Angenent

    Concert with Joris Boon (cello), Wolter Willemsen (piano) and Cileke Angenent (mezzo soprano) to include works by Beethoven, Brahms, Borodin and Britten.
