The Lion Ballroom is a stunning Georgian Grade Two Listed ballroom where you can share your special day and create memories. The Ballroom holds up to 100 guests and now offers a wedding licence. You can also choose our Georgian Room which is an intimate venue to share with up to 20 guests to say your vows.

Price list:

The Georgian Room is an intimate room where you can say your vows with up to 20 guests. The price includes exclusive use and 2 parking spaces outside the venue for up to 3 hours.

Ceremony only weekdays from £550

Ceremony only weekends from £750

Package prices for up to 20 guests would include venue hire, 2 glasses of Prosecco, canapes, tea/coffee and 2 parking spaces from £1250 (weekdays), £1495 (weekends).

The Lion Ballroom holds up to 100 guests where you may have your ceremony, wedding reception or both parts of your celebration.

Ceremony packages for up to 50 guests:

This includes hire of the venue, 2 glasses of Prosecco, canapes, tea/coffee and 2 parking spaces from £2495 (weekdays), £2995 (weekends). Additional guests would incur an additional charge.

Wedding receptions

We offer dry hire which allows you to hire the venue exclusively for 48 hours, giving you complete flexibility for your event. The dry hire includes use of the tables and chairs, catering kitchen, car parking, security, an outside area and a staffed cash bar. Dry hire is £3500 for use of The Lion Ballroom between Friday midday to Sunday midday. Deposit £500.

Bespoke Wedding Packages are also available on request and are priced individually. Our wedding packages allow you to choose the catering, flowers, styling in your colour scheme which still allow you to create individual touches to your special day.
